Team Sparkle is GO for pull-out

Our Basler buddies are going to do a return shuttle for us–they just took off from Willie Field and are coming to pick us up right now! Thanks guys! That will leave Jim and Brian all by their lonesomes here at camp. They’ll be staging some of our equipment for next year at the Shackleton glacier camp, so hopefully they’ll be able to get out there tomorrow and return to McMurdo in the afternoon. In the meantime, Morgan and I are packing up all of our stuff and tearing down our tent. It’s been five weeks to the day since Team Sparkle first arrived in the field, and it’s hard to believe that we’re leaving already. Stay tuned for updates from the warm indoors!
