Team dinner for the six arrivals to NZ where conversation included the intricacies of life in a Scott tent, specifically, the dodos and don\u2019ts<\/em><\/span>.<\/p><\/div>\n Koa katoa,<\/p>\n With John and Brian in McMurdo, the rest of us arrived in Christchurch this morning right on schedule with all our equipment in tow (minus a power adapter I donated to a plug by Gate 32 at Auckland airport, whoops!). Today we repacked\/reorganized our gear and got ready for the days ahead. James survived being beer deprived over a 9 km walk to the city center for a restaurant that Barb recommended \u2013 which, I might add, did not disappoint. The great conversation, many laughs (mostly at my expense), and the late dusk made 21:00<\/span> jump up on us.
