She is currently a Speech-Language Pathology graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in Voice.<\/h6>\n<div id=\"attachment_513\" style=\"width: 411px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-513\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-513\" src=\"https:\/\/artscimedia.case.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/226\/2023\/07\/06112814\/Screen-Shot-2023-07-06-at-11.28.02-AM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"401\" height=\"302\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-513\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tara Dickinson, CWRU graduate &#8217;21\u00a0 &#8211; Photo taken at ASHA Annual Convention (2022)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>For her senior capstone project, Tara collected survey data regarding recent SLP graduates&#8217; self-perceived preparedness in working with transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals.<\/p>\n<p>The results of this study were <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.case.edu\/facultyworks\/169\/\">published this year<\/a> in <em>Teaching and Learning in Communication Sciences and Disorders<\/em>. Co-authors include Molly Normandin (CWRU MA-SLP graduate &#8217;23) and Dr. Mulheren.
