KidsFirst

KidsFirst is a network of researchers from Stanford University, Case Western Reserve University, and UC-Davis. Toegther, we are working define unique behavioral patterns and connect them with genetic profiles to see if certain genes result in certain behaviors.

KidsFirst is the largest and deepest study investigating the biology and genetics of autism and similar disorders. We hope that this research allows for a better understanding of autism in general and the opportunity to tailor interventions to target behaviors by examining genetics.

Eligibility

We are actively looking for families to participant in this study. You must have a child with autism or a related disorder in your family. We are especially looking for:

  • Children with autism or neurodevelopmental condition
  • Families with multiple children with autism or a related condition including ADHD, seizures, anxiety, OCD, genetic conditions, etc.
What is Required

Participating in KidsFirst is easy and comes at no cost to you. Everything is done entirely online from the comfort of your own home. You will be asked to answer questions regarding your child’s diagnosis, developmental milestones, behavior, and medical history.
