SciFinder Scholar<\/a><\/strong> is a powerful popular means to search the chemical literature.\u00a0 Our university agreement with ACS only allows for a limited number of simultaneous users.\u00a0 If you are momentarily \u201clocked out\u201d please try again later or use one of the other search engines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rexys<\/a> <\/strong>is also a great search engine, and it also adds more information for inorganic materials.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

ISI Web of Science<\/a><\/strong> also provides much information, non-graphical.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cambridge Crystallographic Database Centre<\/a><\/strong> provides a nice web interface, WebCSD<\/a><\/strong>, for structural searches and results of small molecule crystallography.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also have access to the Science of Synthesis<\/a><\/strong> online.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spectral Database for Organic Compounds<\/a> <\/strong>(free web site, very useful).\u00a0 Should be used in conjunction with a marvelous paper listing the \u201cNMR <\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span>Shifts of Common Laboratory Solvents as Trace Impurities<\/strong><\/span>\u201d<\/a> JOC paper to better understand your NMR spectra.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
