Prospective Undergraduate Research Assistants
On an annual basis, we recruit undergraduate students to serve as research assistants (RAs) in the PTSD Research and Treatment Program.
Undergrad RA applications open in April/May of each year and the position begins virtually in June. Our lab does not have openings for undergraduate RAs outside of this time frame.
Those possibly interested in serving as an RA in our lab can view additional information about the position, including responsibilities, and professional development opportunities, on this page.
If you are interested in applying to be an RA in our lab, please fill out this form. We will email everyone who completes this form in the late Spring when applications open. This email will contain the application link and information about the application process.
All students who complete this form will receive equal consideration. Inquiring about the position or application process directly with our lab or its members via email will not change your likelihood of receiving an offer.
Please note that our lab is only able to offer research assistantships to students who are officially enrolled at Case Western Reserve University. We recommend those outside of CWRU interested in collaboration apply to the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program, or check below to see if we have open post-bacc positions.
Below is a brief list of resources for those interested in getting involved in research:
● CWRU Undergraduate Research website
● APA’s list of summer research programs
● STEM graduate school mentorship programs, like Project SHORT, NextGen Scholars, and Psychin’ Out

Prospective Post-Baccs
We do not currently have openings for full-time post-bacc positions. Please check this page in April 2027 to see if we are recruiting a post-bacc at that time.
