Theresa Lee was a research assistant and lab manager while at CWRU, and graduated in the Spring of 2022 with a double major in Communication Sciences and Psychology, with a minor in Spanish. She recently completed her master’s degree in speech-language pathology graduate from Columbia University, Teachers College.
For her senior capstone project, Theresa conducted a literature review on swallowing and genetic taste status. The results of the review were published this year in the American Journal of Speech Language Pathology. Co-authors include Dr. Angela Dietsch (Dept. of Special Education and Communication Disorders, University of Nebraska-Lincoln), Rana Damra (2023 graduate of CWRU MA SLP program), and Dr. Mulheren. In addition, Theresa presented a poster on this topic at the ASHA convention in 2022.
