Boys Town National Research Hospital Partners with Hampton, Case Western Reserve Universities on Diversity Program

Boys Town National Research Hospital announced support for the IMPACT program designed to improve minority representation in speech-language pathology and audiology graduate programs, clinics, and research at Hampton University and Case Western Reserve University. IMPACT Program Provides Mentorship to Underrepresented COSI/CSD Students

Lauren Calandruccio recently received a grant from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association to create the Innovative Mentoring and Professional Advancement through Cultural Training (IMPACT) program, a one-year program that provides formal mentoring to undergraduates in communication sciences from underrepresented backgrounds. Its goal is to diversify the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology by supporting students through the process of applying to graduate programs and preparing them for success in their future endeavors.
