an _extremely_ short turn-around

Well, it turned out to be just a practice run today on getting the first of us onto the airplane for the flight to CTAM, as now, 4 hours later, we’re back in McMurdo.  There was a bad electrical reading onboard, which could have been either just a bad gauge or a real issue, and during the time that the electrical avionics techs were investigating, our crew timed out (exceeded their allow working time).  The next crew couldn’t take us as they were already locked in for the next flight, so our flight to CTAM was canceled for today.

But I can at least show a couple of photos from our truncated foray –

We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
