Today was our first full day at Mt. Wisting. We finished setting up camp and getting our skidoos ready. After lunch we traversed some blue ice and walked a moraine but there were only meteorwrongs from what we could see. It was a very beneficial exercise especially for both Ioannis and myself as it got us familiarized with the local lithologies while John detailed several things to look for.
The dinner menu tonight at Chateau Schutt-Baziotis was egg noodles with clams. At Shack du Day-VanBommel, the fixens included frozen veggies, some surf ‘n turf, and the holy grail of the ANSMET diet: tater tots.
Hoping for a full day of hunting space rocks tomorrow!
