Snow-snakes and katabatic winds: update

Origami Space Penguin

Juliane relaxing on her sleeping bag on this lovely tent day.

The wind has not let off at noon today and so this cold day outside turned into a snuggly day inside the tent with the stove burning all day to keep it at a reasonable temperature. We read, worked, slept, ate, made lots and lots of water, in between got all bundled up to venture outside to chip more icy snow for our water production, we listened to Christmas songs, folded origami with space-themed paper, and simply relaxed. Tomorrow however, we will go out to search and recover meteorites again whether Antarctica likes it or not! One tent day is fine and welcoming after all this hard work of the past days but one day is also enough.
