BiSC Lab Summer in Cleveland

Dash for Dysphagia is a national week-long initiative encouraging people across the country to walk or run  in their local communities in support of those affected by swallowing disorders. The event raises funds for the Dysphagia Research Society, which supports critical research and advocacy efforts. 

In rain and sun, BiSC Lab participated as team Speedy Swallows. Thank you to all who donated on behalf of our team!

 

BiSC lab had a table at InMotion’s Living In Motion event for people with Parkinson’s disease and their families. We shared information about speech, swallowing, and our current research projects.

 

BiSC lab attended Papa’s Path 24-hour walk event in honor of those living with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers and families. We shared information about our current research projects and provided resources on communication and swallowing. Thank you to Papa’s Path for sharing flyers for our ongoing research studies on their website!
