Dr. Emmitt Jolly and John Milligan were recently featured in the Case daily, a Case Western Reserve University publication, in an article titled “Researchers identify crucial gene activator in slow-killing parasite.” The article discusses work recently published in the Public Library of Science Neglected Tropical Diseases (PLoS-NTDs), which featured our above image of S. mansoni Schistosomula feeding on red blood cells as the issue cover shot.
