Enjoyed catching up over dinner with former PhD student, Professor Rhett Smith (Clemson University) and his students (“my academic grandchildren”) as well as my former postdoctoral associate, Professor Robert Gilliard (MIT) while at the 2026 Spring National ACS meeting in Atlanta.  Robert was also an undergraduate researcher with Rhett Smith at Clemson.
