If I'm counting the hours correctly, the main body of ANSMET volunteers is in the air over the middle of the pacific right now, still a couple of hours from their destination. But it looks like they're already finding each other, and I think the smiles tell the tale.......

As I write this the last of the 2014-2015 ANSMET field party members (John Schutt) should be heading for the MEC to catch his flight to Christchurch and soon afterwards his home in Washington State. Thus it seems like a perfect time to try and sum up the season.
