Hi all, just sent a quick email to the field team wishing them luck as they try to fly south to McMurdo. Got an immediate response from Nina that says....."We're in the van heading there now! Looking forward to experiencing the majesty of the Herc...."

If I'm counting the hours correctly, the main body of ANSMET volunteers is in the air over the middle of the pacific right now, still a couple of hours from their destination. But it looks like they're already finding each other, and I think the smiles tell the tale.......
