Julie Origlio, one of our graduate students, successfully defended their Master’s thesis this past April!

Their project is titled “Minority Stress and Mental Health In Sexual and Gender Minority Youth: The Role of Thwarted Belongingness and Perceived Burdensomeness.” Julie examined how interpersonal stressors are especially strong predictors of symptoms of depression and anxiety in LGBTQ+ adolescents.
